How many items can I check out?
There is a limit of 25 items at one time.
How long can I keep my items?
All books may be checked out for two weeks.
Can I renew my items?
Most items can be renewed. Exceptions are DVDs, Bluebonnet
books, Caldecott books, and materials reserved by other library
users. Materials can only be renewed twice which means a patron can
have material out for 6 weeks. Materials must be returned to the
library for one week before patron may check them out again.
Do you charge
overdue fines?
Yes, fines are $0.10 per day per
item. Fines max out at $5.00 per item.
How do I obtain materials that are not
currently in the library?
There are three ways: 1) Place a request for the library
to purchase the material, 2) Request an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) for
the material (see
form), or 3) Obtain a TexShare Card and use it to borrow the
materials at another library which participates in the TexShare Card

How much do copies and computer print outs cost?
Black and white copies cost $.10 and color copies cost
$.25. Copies
are $.10 each and all costs should be paid at
the circulation desk.
Can I borrow eBooks or downloadable
audiobooks?
Yes! Lake Travis Community Library has expanded its services
with audiobooks, eBooks, music, and video, available to download
for free! Library card holders can check out and
download digital media anytime, anywhere through
OverDrive.
