You can find Tim Toler at the library checking in books every Wednesday evening and the third Thursday of every month meeting with the Friends of the Library. Tim is a lifelong reader and lover of libraries. He studied History and English as an undergraduate, and even though he wound up with a graduate degree and career in investment banking, he has long harbored a secret desire to be a librarian. It was an easy transition, therefore, to start volunteering at the library four years ago, shortly after he and his wife moved to Lakeway. Tim was born in New Orleans, spent most of his formative years in Houston, went to school in Tennessee, and lived in Atlanta for 30 years before he and his wife moved back to Texas to be closer to family and friends. When he isn’t golfing or giving his time to the library, Tim also serves on the Lakeway Heritage Commission and is President of the Lake Travis Republican Club. Many thanks, Tim, for your service to our library and community!
