We are thrilled to announce that Raj Kamat has accepted the new position of Assistant Director of the Lake Travis Community Library! Raj began working at LTCL five years ago while earning her Master of Science in Information Studies degree at UT. She started as a Library Assistant and has continued to take on new roles and responsibilities, including purchasing materials for the library as Collection Development Librarian. In her new role, Raj is helping to plan and develop our second location, where she will eventually manage staff and volunteers. She will maintain some of her collection duties, so please keep sending her your requests! Raj spent her childhood in Pennsylvania and India and has been in Austin for seven years. She loves reading fantasy and watching crime shows.
