Online: The History of Prints from Dürer to Degas

Explore the development of art prints from the late 15th through the 19th century in Europe, ranging from woodcuts by Albrecht Dürer, to engravings by Rembrandt, etchings by Francisco Goya, and monotypes by Edgar Degas, and more.

This class will be led by Dr. Pam Sachant. Sachant has a Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Delaware and was Head of the Department of Visual Arts at the University of North Georgia. An experienced lecturer, Sachant has presented at several conferences, universities, and museums, including the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C. As an academic writer, Sachant is featured in the University Press of North Georgia and in art history publications including the Archives of American Art Journal.
