This month the Lakeway Painters will display their artwork in the meeting room in Lakeway. Years ago, after an inspiring watercolor class given by well-known painter Johnnie Fields, a group of his students established the Lakeway Painters. The group meets once a week to paint in a supportive environment and have a friendly critique of each other’s work. Their exhibit at the library will feature the works of several members and will include watercolors, collages, pastels, and more. All are invited to join the Lakeway Painters Art Reception on Saturday, February 21st from 1pm to 3pm in the Lakeway meeting room.
