In March the Lakeway Arts District will present Women in Art, an exhibit celebrating Women’s History Month that features local women artists. This creative collection includes paintings, drawings, digital AI art, mixed media, and sculptures, and was inspired by women’s rights, history, and topics like voting, equality, health, beauty, and motherhood. We invite you to join us for a reception on Saturday, March 4th from 1:30pm to 3pm.
Additionally, the Lakeway Arts District has coordinated a variety of women-centric events throughout the month including author readings, an art demonstration, musical performances, and a PBS documentary film screening on the history of women’s voting rights in Texas.
