I have been married to my wife Lori for 47 years. We first met in the Air Force at Kinchloe Air Force Base in Michigan. We have three children, two sons and a daughter, and four grandchildren.
What are your hobbies and interests?
I love to read, watch movies, and am an avid amateur photographer. Last year I traveled to Ireland, France, Denmark, and five national parks in Utah – I was able to capture some great memories!
What do you enjoy most about being a Tech Coach?
I like to meet new people! I also love a challenge and discovering solutions together with library patrons.
What did you do before retiring?
I worked for Schlumberger in multiple roles: software engineering, IT, business consulting, and business process improvement. I love thinking about, mapping, and improving processes.
What do you like to read?
I’ve read all the Jack Reacher, Lucas Davenport, Bob Lee Swagger, and Slow Horses books. I read 62 books in 2024 to meet my reading challenge and the ones I most remember were: Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt, All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker, The Briar Club by Kate Quinn, Tom Lake by Ann Patchett, and Iona Iverson’s Rules for Commuting by Clare Pooley.
