In partnership with Canine Companions, Bow Wow Reading gives children the opportunity to practice reading to a certified therapy dog! Readers are given a 15-minute private session to practice in a calm and non-judgmental environment.

Enjoy reading 1,000 books together to help your little one prepare for Kindergarten! Children who are read to from birth have a larger vocabulary, higher rates of academic success, and are more likely to become lifelong learners and readers. Reading together provides a great opportunity for bonding and memory making. Record each book you and your newborn, infant, or toddler read together on a paper log (yes, repeats count!) and come to the library to claim your prizes!
Attention all homeschoolers! The library offers a special monthly Homeschool Program which incorporates educational themes with opportunities to build community with local homeschool families. Children will learn a variety of life skills during our interactive presentations on science, technology, math, and more!
