The basic principle of gaining strength is the overload principle which means in order to get stronger, we must attempt to push our body further to give it a stimulus to get stronger. Normally this entails adding more weight in a systematic way to get stronger. Blood Flow Restriction Training stresses our body in a different way which allows us to improve our strength and using less than 30% of the amount of resistance you can tolerate.
