Hello! I’m Jennifer and I am very excited to join the wonderful staff at the library. I am a chemistry professor at Austin Community College and a certified aromatherapist. I love integrating biology and chemistry with essential oils to facilitate a healthier lifestyle. I have many hobbies, including cooking and baking, swimming, pilates, speaking Spanish, reading, traveling, and most of all – I LOVE to LEARN! I look forward to working with this lovely community!
Hi, I’m Nina! I grew up in Michigan and lived in Massachusetts, Indiana, and California before moving to Texas. I have experience as a Home Economics teacher and as a librarian. For the past three years I have volunteered at the Lake Travis Community Library, so I’ll feel right at home at West! I love spending time with my children and grandchildren, who live here in Austin, and my dog, Bianca. In my spare time, you can find me reading or making quilts!
Hi, I’m Isabel and I am so excited to join the library team at our new West location. I am currently in my first year of graduate school for a Master’s of Library Science, working towards a career as a public librarian. On the rare occasion that I am not cozied up with a book, you might find me baking, crafting, or on a walk with my super cute dog named Libby (she was not named for the amazing eBook app, but what a great coincidence). I can’t wait to meet you!
