This month, award-winning entries and selected works from the Teen Art Contest are on display in the library’s meeting room. Students in grades 6 through 12 were asked to create an original piece of art inspired by their reading experiences. Thanks to the Friends of the Library, cash prizes were awarded to the winners!
“This year’s artists demonstrated brave execution, thoughtful composition, and varied use of texture and color,” said contest judges Victoria Waite, Mary Lois Recio, and Jana Dodd.
