Bagpipes with the Capitol City Highlanders Pipe Band

Come to the library to hear Austin’s oldest active Scottish bagpipe and drumming corps, the Capitol City Highlanders Pipe Band. They have played for dignitaries such as Texas Governor Mark White, publisher Malcom Forbes, and Prince Charles on his visit to Texas in 1986. Band members range in age from 8 to over 60!
