Local author Kimberly Nixon will discuss her debut novel, Rock Bottom, Tennessee. The novel takes place in 1920’s Appalachia and is based on a true story about Nixon’s grandmother, convicted of a federal crime when Nixon’s mother was a baby. Copies of the book will be available for sale at the event.
